AS COPIED FROM TODAY'S NOTE IN FOCUS:
Dear Parents, During the past week, I have been searching for assignments for students who had any work missing as of Dec 26. This search has gone beyond the protocol outlined in class to students, as explained to parents in the previous note here in Focus and as stated in the post on our class blog (landonartclasses.weebly.com) It appears that some students sending work to me through their Oneview school email accounts had difficulty loading certain project work files due to DCPS restrictions on the size of files students can attach to and send through email. Admittedly, I was unaware of this technicality. Any student who has sent work to me through a commercial email account such as Gmail has not encountered this problem. Please know that over the weekend and this morning I have been searching for missing project work, particularly on my own computers (I keep copies of files that students give me via flash drive) and on any possible portable media here in class. As of 9:00 am this morning, I believe I have everyone's project work. However, if it happens that your student ends up with missing grades, I will take necessary steps to remedy the problem ASAP.
